Spring Semester

Weekly lessons, January - mid June

Summer Semester

3-5 lessons over a summer is recommended to prevent knowledge loss and a successful transition to fall semester.

Lessons do not have to be the same day/time every week.

Regular lessons resume the week of September 10. Exact school year programming to be announced over the summer

Cancellation Policy

In the case of a missed lesson/cancellation, please provide 24 hours notice, in which case the lesson will be rescheduled. Reschedules are not guaranteed and are subject to teacher availability. In the case the teacher cancels, the lesson will be rescheduled or a credit will be issued (in extreme cases only).

Covid Protocols

We believe in science and the reality of a world-wide pandemic. And we respect CDC guidelines.

With that said, we also believe that learning to sing or make music requires a full scope of expression, communication, and connection that simply cannot be replicated with a mask on.

Therefore, a mask will not be worn by the teacher during in-person lessons and students will not be required to wear one by the studio.

For your peace of mind, Laura has been fully vaccinated.

We understand this might not be the right choice for everyone, in which case virtual lessons remain a continued option.

Billing

Lesson payments occur at the beginning of the month for all lessons scheduled for the month. e.g. Payment due April 1 for all lessons scheduled for April.

Once we find a convenient time-slot reservation, receive an invoice for your first installment.

Changes

Memberships offer built-in time for the inevitable cancellation. Each member receives up to 38 reserved lesson slots depending on when you start to use throughout the school year with up to 33 of those guaranteed.

August enrollments: 38 slots. September enrollment: 35 slots.

That means you can cancel, even last minute, no worries!

The last few days of December first week of June will be a built-in make up week if you miss more than 5 to make up one additional missed lesson only.

Music is a life-long journey and we never take ending lessons personally if you decide to take a break, although we might be a little sad. We just ask for a  heads up so our staff can plan accordingly- shoot us an email about it to make arrangements.

No advance notice needed: Settling any unpaid invoices plus paying one (1) additional installment sets you free.

Membership

Kuhl Music’s unique membership program aligns with our mission to put relationships first. It allows students and teachers to have consistent lessons, consistent time-off, and consistent payment processing (clients) or income (teachers.) Our schedule does not run per month, lesson, or year but per relationship.

We’re your music teacher, your cheerleader, your audition coach, your arts connection, and your audience!

Kuhl Music values the unique needs of each student so every lesson is personally crafted to fit their specific goals. Voice lessons are different from other instrument lessons being that the individual person is the instrument and thus must be treated with care and mutual respect.

We prioritize a quality lessons experience that puts your singer first and gives them REAL tools to develop a healthy, balanced instrument.
